
Sacred Heart Convent School, Sec-39, Urban Estate, Ludhiana organized a series of medical camps on the school premises on 11th April 2026 in observance of World Health Day.The Dental Check-up Camp was organized by a team of expert doctors under the guidance of Dr. Lakhveer Kaur, Associate Consultant – Dental Sciences (MDS), Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, with the aim of promoting good oral hygiene and ensuring the dental well-being of students. More than 225 students benefited from this initiative.
An Eye Check-up Camp was also organized under the supervision of Dr. Parveen Rani, MS (Ophthalmology), Fellowship in Squint & Strabismus, Associate Consultant – Ophthalmology, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana. The camp aimed to create awareness about eye health and facilitate the early detection of vision-related issues. A total of 125 students were examined during this camp.
In addition, an Eye Care Awareness Session titled “How to Protect Your Eyes” was conducted by Dr. Parveen Rani for the students of Senior Secondary classes in the morning hours. The session emphasized the importance of eye care, preventive measures, and maintaining healthy vision—an essential aspect of overall well-being. Around 250 students attended the session and gained valuable insights.
The school staff also underwent medical check-ups conducted by the expert medical team. Parents expressed their sincere gratitude to the School Director, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Pallassery, and the Principal, Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria, for organizing such meaningful and beneficial health initiatives for the students.
