SHCS, Sec-39, Urban Estate, Ludhiana organized a Seminar for the Professional Development of the school Faculty on the topic, ‘Teaching Gen Z – Challenges and Possibilities’. The resource person for the seminar was Dr. Bro. George Palackal sg Director of Montfort Counselling and Educational Services, a renowned counseling psychologist, who has been consistently giving A++ rating seminars. A total of 135 members of the school staff attended the Seminar which was further divided into different sessions addressing Mobile phone dependence among Gen-Z children, Interactive class environment, 8-second attention span, flexibility for study, teamwork, consensus building, inclusive classroom, 51% learn best by doing. Principal Rev. Sr. Crispin Maria presented an expression of gratitude to Dr. Br. George Palackal for providing the valuable possibilities to face the challenges in this modern age where CPD- continuous Professional development is much essential to impart education to Gen- Z children.
